Dried Fruits

Dried fruits are mostly dried either naturally, with sun drying, or with specialized dryers such as heated wind tunnel dryers or dehydrators. Dried fruits retain most of the nutritional value of fresh fruits. Properly stored, dried fruits will last for about 6 to 12 months at room temperature but if you are interested in a longer storage time, store them tightly in the refrigerator to preserve the quality of the sliced dried fruits for up to six additional months.
